Living Sound visited City Church International in Dallas, TX.
They wanted to upgrade their speakers due to the outdated speakers.
They said they were not able to hear the voices clearly and the worship sound was lack of mid-low frequency which is the richness of sound. We suggested different options including line array, point source, and column array. We explained the pros and cons of each option.
We suggested the column array speakers because of the sanctuary’s size and shape. The line array option was not fit in their budget plan. The point source option had a risk of the resonance due to the high and pointed ceiling.
Experience is much more powerful than explanations.
Therefore, we did a demonstration of the column array speakers.
Now they have clear guidance on choosing the right speakers based on their budget plan.
